💶For a small or medium-sized business, a cash-flow need can arise quickly: purchasing stock, paying suppliers, salaries, equipment, works or simply strengthening working capital.
Traditionally, a company turns to its bank. But new digital solutions now make it possible to explore other forms of financing, often with a simpler process and more suitable for short-term needs.
🚀 A new generation of financing
Players such as YouLend, Shopify Capital, Bpifrance Flash, as well as specialized intermediaries such as Sansekai Solution, are contributing to this evolution.
The objective is not necessarily to replace banks, but to offer an alternative or complementary solution, particularly when a company is looking for financing adapted to a specific need.
YouLend: financing integrated into sales
YouLend offers businesses digital financing ranging from €1,000 to €1 million, with an online application and repayments based on a percentage of daily sales. According to YouLend, businesses can receive an offer on the same day and funds within a few days, subject to eligibility. (YouLend)
Shopify Capital: financing your business from your e-commerce environment
For eligible merchants, Shopify Capital provides access to financing solutions directly within the Shopify ecosystem.
In France, Shopify states that loans are provided by Banking Circle S.A., while YouLend SAS acts as the exclusive agent for banking and payment services. (Shopify Help Center)

Bpifrance Flash: digital financing for specific needs
Bpifrance is also developing digital financing solutions. In 2026, several “Flash” schemes have been offered to address specific needs of SMEs.
For example, the Prêt Flash Électrique launched in 2026 provides financing from €10,000 to €75,000, without personal or real security, through a 100% digital process, with funds announced to be made available within 7 days, subject to eligibility criteria. (Bpifrance | Press)
Another scheme, the Prêt Flash Carburant, offered financing from €5,000 to €50,000, also without personal or real security, for certain businesses meeting the scheme's eligibility criteria. (Bpifrance | Press)
🏦 What about traditional banks?
Bank financing obviously remains an essential pillar of business financing.
The Banque de France reported that in Q2 2026, 96% of SMEs applying for investment credit obtained all or at least 75% of the amount requested. For cash-flow loans, the approval rate for SMEs stood at 83%. (Banque de France)
However, a bank application may require the analysis of numerous financial elements and, depending on the financing, guarantees or security may be required. Service-Public specifically notes that lenders may request guarantees such as a personal guarantee or a pledge. (Service Public Entreprendre)
This is precisely where digital solutions can provide a complementary option, particularly for certain cash-flow or operating needs.
🤝 What role does Sansekai Solution play?
At Sansekai Solution, our role is to help SMEs identify financing solutions suited to their situation and needs.
Stock, cash flow, working capital, equipment or a one-off financing requirement: the objective is to simplify the connection with financial partners, without replacing the institution that makes the financing decision.
The company can therefore prepare its application and submit the necessary documents so that the relevant financial partner can assess the request.
🎯 Will the financing of tomorrow be 100% digital?
Probably not.
Banks will continue to play a major role, particularly for significant investments and long-term financing. However, digital solutions and new financing models now offer SMEs more options for addressing specific needs.
Perhaps the real evolution lies here: no longer relying on a single source of financing, but being able to compare several solutions according to the company's needs, activity and repayment capacity.
